CAD Engineer/Designer

Due to continued growth, Unifabs is looking to recruit an enthusiastic CAD Engineer with some previous industry experience. The successful candidate will be a dynamic person with the desire to learn and progress within the company.  In this role you will have the opportunity to see designs through to production and have an input in every process. You will be working with state of the art equipment and develop their use to achieve the best potential. 

The Role:

Full-time, Permanent

Day shift

07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday / 07:30 – 13.30 Friday

Full-time, 40 hours basic per week

Responsibilities:

  • Working with clients to design and develop bespoke sheet metal fabrications.
  • Creating technical drawings using Solidworks.
  • Preparing, amending and maintaining drawings.
  • Liaising with customers via telephone, email and face to face.
  • Working alongside various departments to ensure customer needs are met.

The Candidate:

  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Previous CAD experience in Solidworks or relevant software.
  • Previous Engineering experience in similar field, Sheet metal/Fabrication/Design for manufacture
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Proactive and able to work as part of a team

The Package:

Salary: £28000PA – £38000PA depending on experience.
