We’re pleased to announce the purchase of an additional four units of factory space on our existing site at Haunchwood Park Drive in Nuneaton. The additional units equate to 23,000 square feet and the deal was secured for £1.4 million. This investment means we now have more than 52,000 square feet of manufacturing space at the site.

The purchase underpins our ongoing growth which in the past ten years has seen us expand from 10 to 110 people, and our annual turnover increase from £1 million to £9 million so far this year.

Complete manufacturing service provider

Unifabs Limited, founded by Managing Director Jason Austin in 2007 as a manufacturer of sheet metal components, has since expanded to offer design services as well as powder coating and final assembly. Making Unifabs a single site, complete manufacturing service provider.

Jason said: “This is a landmark moment for the business and firmly establishes our roots in the area. The additional factory space will enable us to increase our production capacity, particularly in assembly. It will also allow us to realise further efficiencies in our processes by reorganising some production cells.”

“This expansion comes off the back of a time where we had to quickly diversify during the lockdown period. As a business we have near enough returned to the demand we were seeing before Covid-19 struck. This additional space is going to act as a catalyst for further growth as we aim for an annual turnover of £12 million in the next two years.”

Leamington Spa law firm Wright Hassall LLP acted on the purchase on behalf of Unifabs Limited.

Bhavika Mistry, Associate Solicitor in Wright Hassall’s Commercial Real Estate department, added: “Deals of this nature underline the region’s resilience despite the challenging economic environment we are operating in.

“This is the third time we have acted for Unifabs Limited in purchasing buildings on the estate in the last three years.

“The deal is a great investment for the future of Unifabs Limited who are going from strength-to-strength and it has been a pleasure to help Jason get this great deal over the line.”
