Unifabs, a leading manufacturing company, is proud to announce the celebration of three of its employees on reaching their 10-year service milestones. Today they celebrate the achievements of Andrzej Szaumkese, Lukasz Gruba and Chris Hicks, who recently reached this impressive milestone in their careers in manufacturing.

Celebrating careers in manufacturing

Chris, Andrzej and Lukasz all joined the business in 2013. They have played an important role in its growth and success, making an impact across many departments during this time.

Chris joined the business as Contracts/Estimation Manager. Chris has worked to produce many of the quotes and contracts generated for the business. Today he manages a team of four people, heading up the Contracts and Estimation department at Unifabs.

Andrzej started out his career at Unifabs in the Folding department working on the press brakes. Following this he progressed to work in the Sheet Metal Centre operating the CNC machines (punch and laser). Today Andrzej works in a supervisory role in CNC programming.

Lukasz’ career at Unifabs started in the fabrication department as a welder. In 2019 Unifabs invested in a twin cell robotic welding system. Lukasz progressed to support the business utilising this state-of-the-art technology.

The importance of service milestones

Reaching a 10-year service milestone is a significant accomplishment that deserves recognition and celebration. Managing director Tom James said “Chris, Andrzej, and Lukasz have been an integral part of our company’s success, and we are proud to have them as members of our team. I’d like to express our thanks for all of their hard work and the skills each of them bring to the business. Thank you for the dedication shown over the past 10 years and I look forward to many more years of working together.” (Pictured above left to right Tom James, Andrzej Szaumkese, Lukasz Gruba, Chris Hicks and Jason Austin (Chief Executive)).
